I am an experienced native (UK) English freelance proofreader and editor with a passion for language.
My experience of proofreading and editing was whilst I was working for a non-profit organisation (Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe), where I was one of the only native English speakers. As a result, I was asked to proofread and edit all the documents coming out of Working Table I, for which I was the Project Officer.
Since then I have continued proofreading and editing for various international organisations, including the United Nations, as well as companies in the private sector, such as the Global Mobility and Medical Sector.
I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP) and follow their Code of Practice.
